75 years of quality, supply, and tradition.

Hops have been part of our family since 1942. Since then, we’ve built relationships with growers, learned about hop varieties and supply, and brokered hundreds of millions of pounds of hops around the world.

Now in our family’s fourth generation, Hollingbery and Son is still dedicated to the values passed on by founder O.E. “Babe” Hollingbery: personalized service, an unwavering commitment to quality, and the flexibility to meet the changing needs of our customers.

The rise of craft brewing

has brought new opportunities to the hop industry. We’re excited to be a part of the passion of these brewers, brewers who enjoy making beer that they and their friends want to drink.

O.E. "Babe" Hollingbery,

the first generation of Hollingbery, established Hollingbery Hops in 1942. Before opening Hollingbery Hops, Babe was the most successful football coach in Washington State University history, over seventeen seasons. During the wartime break in football, Babe followed his friend, the largest hop grower in the world at the time, to Yakima to help broker hops. Thus sparked the Hollingbery families’ passion for the Yakima Valley and the hop industry that spread across the four generations.
